HEALTH INSURANCE

Metro Homes, Inc. offers Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance to all eligible employees and their eligible dependents. At the time of eligibility, each employee may choose a plan in which he/she want to be enrolled. All full-time employees are eligible for enrollment after the first day of the month following 60 days of continuous employment.

LIFE & AD&D INSURANCE

All full-time employees are eligible to enroll after completion of their six months probationary period. Metro Homes Inc. contributes 100%.

SHORT & LONG TERM DISABILITY

PROFIT SHARING

Full-Time employees are eligible for enrollment upon completion of one year of employment. Enrollment into the Profit-Sharing plan is twice a year on January 1st and July 1st of each year, employees will be automatically enrolled into the plan. All eligible employees can enroll into a tax deferred supplemental retirement annuity through The Standard after the first day of the month following 60 days of continuous employment. This is not an employer contributory plan

VACATION LEAVE

Metro Homes, Inc. provides paid leave for full-time employees after six months of employment; accrual is based upon length of service. Part-time employees who work a minimum of 20 hours on a regular scheduled per week will receive prorated leave.

SICK LEAVE

Metro Homes, Inc. provides seven (7) days of paid sick leave per year for full-time employees after six months of employment. Part-time employees who work a minimum of 20 hours on a regular scheduled per week will receive prorated sick leave after six months of employment.

Metro Homes, Inc. grants all full-time employees eleven (11) paid holidays.

JURY/WITNESS DUTY

An employee required to report for jury duty or to appear under a subpoena as a witness on a scheduled workday will receive normal compensation provided official documentation is presented. If hours of work do not conflict with jury service, the employee is expected to report to work for regular work hours.

BEREAVEMENT LEAVE

Metro Homes, Inc. will allow paid bereavement leave for up to two working days in order to allow employees to attend services if there is a death in an employee’s immediate family.
